Allow Me to teach proper ‘sex’ on TV – Akumaa Mama Zimbi

Akumaa Mama Zimbi also known as Joyce Akumaa Dongotey-Padi says she would love to be given the mandate to teach sex on TV.

She made this known in an interview with Delay on the Delay Show on Viasat1.

According to her, sex should also be given the same attention other things are given in life; “I think sex should be taught just like we are taught how to cook and walk and all,” she said.

Asked where she got all the formalities she knows about sex from, the former actress noted; “I learnt them from the internet, reading books and my mom as well.”

In 1999, Akumaa received the ACRAG Talent Award for Discovery, for her acting role in Cantata which is shown on GTV. She was also awarded the most coveted ACRAG Best Female Radio Personality Award in 2008.
