Controversial Ghanaian dance-hall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah, widely known as Shatta Wale has given a comical narration of the Dr UN awards.
In the hilarious video, the “Melissa” hit-maker explains that Dr. Kwame O. Fordjour organised the awards as payback or revenge against personalities who failed to help him when he reached out to them in the past.
He said Dr. UN who dabbles as a rapper over the years has tried several times to feature some artists, especially Sarkodie and D-Black, in order to hit the limelight, but was ignored by all those he reached out to.
So after waking up from a 5-year coma in January this year, Dr. UN decided to disgrace them by organising the awards, Shatta Wale added.
So he (Dr. UN) went to town and bought food flasks, toy horses, plates, forks, etc. and gold-plated them to serve as the award plaques. He further added that while all other recipients of the award paid GH₵1000, D-Black paid GH₵5000 because he loves awards too much and wanted to win more than one….lol.
As stated earlier, these are unfounded allegations that Shatta Wale put out there just for humor, we at wetaya.com dissociate ourselves from any of the allegations.
